Catering and Events Coordinator – Hotel del Coronado, A Curio Collection by Hilton
The iconic Hotel del Coronado, a historic wooden Victorian beach resort on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, is looking for a Catering and Events Coordinator. After a $400M renovation and expansion, the 28-acre property boasts 750 rooms, cottages, villas and 65,000 sq ft of banquet space, plus 10 food & beverage outlets.

$24.00–$26.00, based on experience and location.

What will I be doing?
Prepare and update BEOs, diagrams, resumes; manage internal distribution and upkeep.
Create and participate in pre‑ and post‑conference meeting documents and note taking.
Manage VIP needs and coordinate amenities.
Utilize internal systems (Delphi, HotSOS, OnQ PM, Birchstreet), Microsoft Office, and telephone communication to collaborate internally and externally.
Oversee office management: supply ordering, equipment maintenance, organization.
Maintain knowledge of banquet menus, dietary restrictions, ADA regulations, and meeting space logistics.
Conduct property tours, pre‑planning visits, and site inspections to promote client satisfaction.
Generate contracts in support of Catering Managers.
Provide direct client contact as required by Managers.
What are we looking for?
Minimum 1 year hotel experience in Events or Catering.
