CyberData Technologies seeks a Systems Engineer to manage and enhance the ServiceNow platform, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance to meet organizational needs.
Responsibilities
Administer and manage the ServiceNow SaaS-based platform, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
Identify opportunities for platform improvement and optimization, tailoring solutions to organizational requirements.
Configure new modules, features, and workflows to support evolving business needs.
Oversee the ServiceNow change request process, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems to enhance operational workflows and data sharing.
Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups in line with NIH security guidelines and best practices.
Monitor and troubleshoot the ServiceNow environment to resolve operational issues and maintain performance.
Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users and administrators to maximize platform utilization.
Maintain comprehensive documentation, including system changes, user rights, and operational procedures.
Provide ongoing technical support for ServiceNow-related issues.
Ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests to meet service-level agreements (SLAs).
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in ServiceNow administration and development.
Hands‑on experience configuring ServiceNow modules and integrating with external systems.
Technical Expertise
Proficiency in ServiceNow platform capabilities, including CMDB, Incident Management, and Workflow Automation.
Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript) and APIs for customization.
Certifications (Preferred)
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
ITIL Foundation Certification
Skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
Excellent communication and training delivery skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on documentation and compliance.
