About the Role We are seeking an experienced
SAP MM Purchasing Consultant
with deep expertise in
Scheduling Agreements, JIT delivery , and high-volume manufacturing environments. You will play a key role in optimizing the end-to-end
Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
process, ensuring efficient material flow, strong supplier collaboration, and seamless system performance across SAP S/4HANA and Ariba.
The ideal candidate is a techno-functional consultant who understands not just the “how” but the
business logic behind procurement workflows , and can design, configure, and support scalable MM solutions as the organization transitions into high-volume production.
Responsibilities
Design, configure, and support
Scheduling Agreements
and Purchase Orders for JIT and forecast-based deliveries.
Manage supplier planning and forecast collaboration processes.
Lead and support
RICEFW
enhancements across procurement workflows.
Maintain and optimize purchasing and material management master data.
Improve processes across
Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC)
and S/4HANA MM.
Analyze and streamline procurement processes aligned with manufacturing operations.
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and end-user support for MM Purchasing functions.
Develop and update training materials and process documentation.
Travel to local sites as needed (approx. once per week).

Ariba/SAP SCC process support
Business process analysis & optimization
Functional testing & production support
User training & documentation
Required Qualifications
4+ years
of hands‑on experience as an SAP MM Consultant
Strong expertise in: 1) Purchase Requisitions, POs, Contracts, 2) Scheduling Agreements and Release Generation (Forecast & JIT), 3) Creation Profile configuration
Solid understanding of
MM-IM processes : Goods Receipt (MIGO), stock transfers, physical inventory
Knowledge of
Logistics Execution (LE)
processes and inbound delivery flows
Understanding of integration points with
FI and PP , including MRP and MD04
Experience working with
EDI/IDoc
procurement message types
Hands‑on experience with
SAP S/4HANA
and Fiori procurement apps
Familiarity with
CIG
and
Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration
(plus)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication skills; able to work across business and technical teams
Proven ability to independently manage deliverables in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred Background
Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
Ability to operate in a growing architecture transitioning from R&D to mass production
Comfort working with procurement volumes scaling toward
1,000+ POs/day
