Vice President Finance - Manufacturing (Full P&L)
Vice President of Finance Manufacturing (full P&L) will support the organization by managing global controlling and accounting functions including consolidation and financial reporting activities with responsibility for compliance with regulatory standards. The role will require an in depth understanding of the application of US GAAP as it pertains to general accounting and financial statement preparation.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent financial decision support to both financial and executive leadership
Work with the established and experienced team to create accurate and timely period financial statements, forecasts and budgets
Ensure compliance with US GAAP for all reporting entities
Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance while promoting collaboration, accountability, and a growth mindset within the finance team
Able to maneuver fast paced environment
Implement improved and more efficient processes and controls
Work as part of the team charged with upgrading and standardizing procedures for the entire global organization
Qualifications
Current CPA license
Bachelor’s degree in BA, Finance, Accounting, or related field
10 years of work experience as a Controller in a manufacturing business with at least 5+ years supervising a team
Experience in public accounting or other professional services firm is a plus
Experience as a Controller in a public company – preferably mid-cap is a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills focused on financial management
Demonstrable attention to detail, well organized
Experience in managing both domestic and international business issues resolution
Experience dealing with Big 4 firms for audit
