Director of Inside Sales – Electrical Testing Services
Location : Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex
Base Pay Range : $180,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical inside sales representatives.
Serve as the technical authority for electrical apparatus and substation testing equipment.
Provide expertise on protective relay testing, test methodologies, and industry standards.
Understand the function and testing requirements of substation equipment including breakers, transformers, switchgear, relays, batteries, and associated systems.
Guide sales reps on selecting appropriate test sets (Doble, Omicron, Megger, Vanguard, etc.) based on customer applications.
Oversee quoting, order management, and customer support to ensure accuracy and responsiveness.
Collaborate with engineering, field services, and product teams to support customer needs and drive revenue growth.
Develop training materials and processes to continually elevate technical proficiency within the sales team.
Analyze sales performance, identify opportunities, and implement strategies to improve team effectiveness.
