An AmLaw 200 law firm is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to join the team and work closely with attorneys, conflicts department staff, and the Firm’s General Counsel to identify, evaluate, and resolve ethical and business conflict issues. This non-practicing attorney role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with the Rules of Professional Conduct and maintaining the highest standards of client service.

What You’ll Do

Conduct research to identify or rule out potential conflicts of interest.

Review and analyze conflict reports; provide concise evaluations and resolution steps.

Serve as an escalation point for Conflicts Analysts and coordinate resolution.

Draft and review conflict waivers, engagement letters, and ethical wall memoranda.

Collaborate with attorneys and General Counsel to negotiate engagement terms and waiver agreements.

What We’re Looking For

Juris Doctorate required.

Minimum 2 years of conflicts experience.

Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.

Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Compensation, Benefits, and Remote Flexibility

Salary Range: $175,000–$230,000 annually (based on experience).

Onsite presence is required for the first few months; hybrid or remote flexibility will be available after this period.
