Patent Attorney
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Patent Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice on patent law, assist clients in navigating the complexities of intellectual property rights, and represent them in patent prosecution and litigation matters. This role is vital for protecting the innovations and inventions of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patent searches and analyze patentability of inventions
Draft and file patent applications with the relevant authorities
Represent clients in patent prosecution before patent offices
Advise clients on patent strategy and IP portfolio management
Assist in litigation matters related to patent infringement
Provide counsel on copyright and trademark issues as they relate to patents
Stay updated on developments in patent law and intellectual property rights
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
Minimum of 3 years of experience in patent law
Strong knowledge of intellectual property laws, including copyright and trademark
Excellent analytical and research skills
Effective communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
