Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Mid Atlantic Business Development Manager Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to expand retail and wholesale distribution of IVD diagnostic kits.

Identify, establish, and manage relationships with key retail chains, wholesalers, distributors, and strategic partners.

Achieve sales targets and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.

Build and maintain strong networks within the U.S. retail and wholesale markets.

Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to guide product positioning and sales strategies.

Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, R&D, Operations, Regulatory) to support product launches and customer requirements.

Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and performance reporting.

Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.

Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team as the business grows.

Qualifications

10+ years of sales experience

in medical devices, diagnostics, or related healthcare sectors.

Established network

and proven relationships within retail and wholesale distribution channels in the United States.

Strong knowledge of IVD market dynamics, product distribution, and B2B sales.

Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, closing complex deals, and managing key accounts.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Experience

Experience launching diagnostic products into retail markets (e.g., pharmacies, big‑box retailers).

Familiarity with reimbursement pathways, FDA‑regulated products, and healthcare compliance.

Leadership experience overseeing sales teams.
