Outside Sales Executive – Payroc Join Payroc as an Outside Sales Executive. This role focuses on identifying and securing sales opportunities in the restaurant, hospitality, and nightlife sectors. Reports to the Director of Sales and Sales Supervisor.

Position Overview This role involves traveling within an assigned territory to meet potential clients, conduct needs assessments, perform in‑person product demonstrations, and deliver tailored presentations. Accurate record‑keeping is essential, requiring consistent data entry and customer information updates in Salesforce. The executive will maintain relationships with current clients and industry associations to ensure customer satisfaction.

Compensation

1st Year Total Compensation: $85,000 – $100,000

2nd Year Total Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000

3rd Year Total Compensation: $120,000 – $160,000

Key Responsibilities

Prospect and canvass assigned territory for opportunities.

Conduct needs assessments and match prospects with Payroc POS products.

Travel throughout territory for appointments and in‑person demos.

Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.

Enter prospect and customer data into Salesforce.

Maintain accurate contact information and sales forecasts.

Submit order entry information to Sales Coordinator.

Develop and maintain relationships with networking groups and industry associations.

Conduct regular check‑in meetings with existing clients.

Follow through on sales and customer service action items.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Computer proficiency with standard MS applications; knowledge of a CRM system such as Salesforce preferred.

Understanding of POS systems, payment solutions, and restaurant business.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Customer service experience managing difficult situations.

Dependability and follow‑through on commitments.

Professionalism and ability to work under pressure.

Organizational support and administrative accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Communications/Hospitality Management.

Training or certification in the food service industry or related technology field.

Strong knowledge of San Diego County restaurant & hospitality market.

Network of key restaurant operators in the SD market.

Working Conditions

Desk‑based work with prolonged computer usage.

Frequent interaction with team, management, and external partners.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds if needed.

Travel 75% travel required.
