About the Company I’m supporting a
well‑established API distributor
supplying high‑quality cGMP pharmaceutical ingredients to regulated markets across the U.S. They partner internationally, manage full regulatory support, and are growing their commercial team with someone who truly understands the API landscape.
The Role
Drive API sales across generic + specialty pharma
Hunt for new business (this is not an account maintenance role)
Build relationships with procurement, C‑suite, regulatory, and R&D teams
Travel for customer visits + key industry events (approx. 50%)
3+ years selling APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients)
Experience working for an
API distributor or API supplier
Strong network within
generic pharma manufacturers
Based in the
Tri‑State area (NY / NJ / PA)
Proven success winning new API business (hunter mentality)
If you have only branded pharma experience, specialty reps roles, or clinical sales — this role will not align with your background.
