Job Summary
We are looking for a junior-mid level
Electrical Engineer
with strong PCBA experience and exposure to supplier quality. This role blends hands‑on electrical engineering with quality support across PCBA builds, incoming inspection, and supplier issue resolution. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hardware, understands how boards are built and tested, and wants to gain experience across both product development and supplier quality—without requiring senior‑level design ownership.

East Bay Area
Compensation (Full Time):
$130,000‑$145,000 (DOE)
Key Responsibilities Electrical Engineering (50‑60%)
Support electrical testing, bring‑up, and PCBA debugging
Review schematics, layouts, and assembly drawings; create supporting test documentation
Execute board‑level validation and record clean, accurate test data
Assist with component evaluations and engineering change updates
Perform electrical troubleshooting during prototype and development builds
Collaborate with systems, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering teams
Supplier Quality Engineering (40‑50%)
Provide technical feedback to suppliers on PCBA build quality and assembly issues
Support incoming inspection and identify workmanship or electrical concerns
Assist with NCRs, issue tracking, and quality documentation
Participate in DFM reviews and provide actionable feedback
Drive corrective actions and verify effectiveness through electrical testing
Review supplier test reports, workmanship standards, and compliance to specs
Maintain quality records and support quality‑system requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
2‑4 years of experience with PCBAs, electrical assemblies, or electronics manufacturing
Ability to interpret schematics, layouts, and BOMs
Hands‑on experience with common test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supplies)
Familiarity with PCBA manufacturing processes and component‑level troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to supplier quality processes, DFM feedback, NCRs, or corrective actions
Knowledge of standards such as IPC‑A‑610 or ISO 9001
Experience working with contract manufacturers or external suppliers
Background in FA, RCA, or reliability activities (not required but beneficial)
Ideal Candidate Profile

Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and confident communicating with suppliers
Enjoys PCBA‑level technical work and identifying issues early in the build cycle
