Responsibilities
Responsible supervisory and technical work in directing the installation, maintenance and repair of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and related equipment; and related work as required. Qualifications
Five (5) years of full-time supervisory experience in the maintenance and repair of climate control systems such as pumps, chillers and boilers. 1st Class Air Conditioning or Refrigeration license. 1st Class Boilers license issued by the Board of Examiners of Operating Engineers of the City of New Orleans. Valid driver's license and eligibility for coverage under the airport's auto liability insurance policy. Successful completion of a personal, criminal and employment background check required under federal regulations. One‑year probationary period. Additional Requirements
This position requires a one‑year probationary period. Candidates must pass a personal, criminal and employment background check required under federal regulations. Candidates for employment with the Airport must possess a valid driver’s license. The city prohibits any applicants who have been determined to be improperly licensed, or as defined by the licensing agencies, from receiving an offer of employment.
