We seek a highly skilled and motivated IT Security Administrator with advanced proficiency in Fortinet products. The ideal candidate will possess at least 3-5 years of experience in IT Security or Network Administration, demonstrating expertise in Active Directory management, troubleshooting, and security enhancement. A strong background with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace is essential, along with a thorough understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and common security protocols. Fluency in English is mandatory as you will communicate frequently with our teams in Toronto, the USA, and Colombia. Preferred certifications include Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE – especially NSE 4, 5, or 7), Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate (SC-200 or SC-300), and CompTIA Security+ or CISSP. Responsibilities

In this role, you will design, implement, configure, and maintain our suite of Fortinet security products, such as FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer. You will serve as a subject matter expert in network security operations, overseeing VPN management, intrusion prevention (IPS), web filtering, application control, and security policy formulation. You will monitor network traffic and security logs with FortiAnalyzer to identify, evaluate, and address security threats and incidents. Conducting regular audits and penetration tests on the network perimeter and internal segments will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you will administer Active Directory infrastructure, manage Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and securely integrate Fortinet products with Active Directory for user authentication. You will also be responsible for overseeing Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace security settings, focusing on user access, data loss prevention (DLP), and compliance. You will develop and maintain security documentation, take part in security incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning, and continuously remain informed about emerging threats and security technologies to recommend and implement protective measures.
