Responsibilities
Develop new technology concepts with strategic impact focused on computer vision algorithms, system design, and integration.
Lead and participate in design, architecture, and development efforts.
Engage with internal and external thought leaders across the computer vision stack to drive new concepts and applications.
Requirements
BS + 5 years’ experience or MS + 3 years’ experience or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with experience in design and development of computer vision software.
Strong execution track record.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship for Master's level).
Experience in systems architecture, design, and integration.
Programming experience in C/C++/Python.
Software engineering and architecture background.
Experience developing camera and sensor drivers.
Experience integrating software into working systems.
Experience with robotic perception, sensor fusion, and computer vision.
Superior problem‑solving skills and independent decision‑making in a fast‑paced team setting.
Willingness to take a drug test and submit to a background investigation.
Minimum age 18 years; willing to work out of the Niskayuna, NY office.
