Associate Dental Care

You’ll welcome patients and conduct their initial screenings, perform thorough, dental cleanings, and help dentists with examinations and procedures. Responsibilities
Make impressions of patients’ teeth to ensure their mouthguards, dentures, etc. are made correctly
Clean dental instruments to ensure everything is sterilized properly
Check for issues such as gingivitis, periodontitis, or caries so patients can receive care as soon as the problem is identified
Use x-ray machines to take photos of the patients’ teeth so the dentist can clearly identify cavities or other oral health issues
Provide post-operative health education to patients so they can take practice good dental care at home after procedures
Qualifications
Certified to perform CPR
Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills
Has dental hygienist licensure in the state where the job is located
Understands HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
Associate’s degree and certification in dental hygiene program required, higher levels of education are highly valued
Compensation: $60 - $75 hourly
