Senior Hardware Engineer – W2 Contract (6 months)

is actively looking for a
Senior Hardware Engineer
to support the development of advanced hardware systems and automated test solutions in Phoenix, AZ. This is a W2 only role with a pay rate of $65–$69 per hour, paid weekly. The role is onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze system‑level requirements and develop Test Requirements Documents (TRDs).
Design and develop automated test equipment (ATE), rack stack systems, adapters, and cable assemblies.
Lead test solution development, including hardware and software integration, debugging, and validation.
Utilize programming languages such as Python, C, LabWindows CVI, and LabVIEW to create and optimize test code.
Conduct stress, performance, and reliability tests on various hardware components.
Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to ensure seamless design‑to‑test integration.
Contribute to certification processes (DO‑160, DO‑178, DO‑254).
Provide leadership and technical direction within project teams throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
4–6 years of experience in hardware engineering, system‑level testing, or test solution development.
Proficiency in Python, C, LabWindows CVI, and/or LabVIEW.
Hands‑on experience with test instrumentation and RF equipment.
Strong understanding of embedded systems and schematic‑based code development.
Familiarity with embedded operating systems and automated test system architectures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading hardware or test development projects.
Knowledge of aviation, defense, or regulated industry certification standards (DO‑160, DO‑178, DO‑254).
Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and manage test documentation processes.
