Sr. Business Solutions Manager at Ultimate Staffing A leading construction firm in Northwest Houston is seeking a Residential Custom Pricing Estimator to join their growing team. Additionally, it is a hybrid work schedule after training. Starting compensation $65,000 - $75,000 depending on experience.

Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Qualifications

High School diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred

3-4 years in residential construction estimating, preferably for custom homes

Proficiency in estimating software

Responsibilities

Review and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.

Conduct quantity take-offs and pricing analysis for labor, materials, and equipment.

Prepare and submit bids, budgets, and proposals for residential construction projects.

Consult with clients, vendors, and internal teams to clarify project scope and resolve cost-related issues.

Maintain and update cost databases, subcontractor quotes, and material pricing.

Track and report actual costs versus estimates throughout the project lifecycle.

Stay current on industry trends, building codes, and new materials that may impact costs.

Participate in site visits to gather data and verify project requirements.
