Job Description:
Role Overview The Salesforce Technical or functional Architect will serve as the strategic technology leader for large-scale Salesforce implementations across Experience Cloud, Enhanced CMS, and Commerce solutions. This role requires deep architectural expertise, enterprise governance, and leadership in designing secure, scalable, and integrated solutions. The architect will guide technical teams, advise stakeholders, and ensure alignment with business objectives while driving innovation and best practices.
Key Responsibilities Enterprise Architecture & Strategy
Define and own the technical roadmap for Salesforce Experience Cloud and Commerce solutions
Establish architectural standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for multi-org and multi-cloud environments
Drive CMS migration strategies and ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems
Architect complex integrations using REST APIs, Connect APIs, and middleware tools
Define API security, authentication flows, and data governance policies
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance across integrated systems
Content Management & CMS Expertise
Oversee implementation of Salesforce Enhanced CMS features including workspaces, channels, collections, and taxonomy
Define workflows, approval processes, and governance for enterprise content management
Lead migration from legacy CMS platforms to Salesforce Enhanced CMS
Solution Delivery & Quality Assurance
Conduct architecture reviews, code audits, and performance optimization
Ensure compliance with security, accessibility, and regulatory standards
Provide technical leadership during design sprints, solution workshops, and client presentations
Act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders and business leaders
Mentor architects and development teams on advanced Salesforce capabilities
Drive innovation and thought leadership within the Salesforce ecosystem
Desired Candidate Profile
Extensive experience as a Technical Architect in Salesforce Experience Cloud and Commerce projects
Proven track record in enterprise-scale architecture and governance
Expertise in Enhanced CMS, content authoring, taxonomy, workflows, and governance
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage complex, multi-cloud implementations and migrations
Technical Skills
Advanced hands‑on experience with Salesforce Experience Builder and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Deep knowledge of REST APIs, Connect APIs, and integration frameworks
Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, automation tools (Flows, Process Builder), and Apex programming
Expertise in CMS migrations and multi‑channel content strategies
Familiarity with enterprise integration tools (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc.)
Performance tuning and security best practices for large‑scale deployments
