The manufacturing/process engineering role for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics ensures quality meets required standards, maintains safety and regulatory compliance, provides training on new processes, equipment and procedures, and tracks key performance indicators. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Technical Operations and is part of the Manufacturing Technical Operations team located in Miami, FL.
Responsibilities
Solve technical issues and delays in production by driving to root cause.
Develop, enhance, maintain and implement manufacturing methods, techniques, processes, and tooling on fabricated parts, components, subassemblies, and final products.
Coordinate the implementation of changes due to process changes, product enhancements/revisions, and new product launches to ensure a smooth transition to production floor, ensuring all quality and validation requirements are met.
Participate in Kaizen and process improvements events using the Danaher Business System (DBS) tools.
Qualifications
Have strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues on electromechanical devices and systems.
Bachelor’s degree in field with 0-2 years’ experience OR Master’s degree in field with 0-2 years’ experience (Engineering degrees in mechanical or electrical preferred).
Preferred/Plus
Manufacturing environments, particularly in hardware.
Regulated industries (e.g., FDA, ISO).
