Healogics is the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, treating more than 300,000 chronic wound patients annually across over 600 sites. The Clinical Program Director leads the strategic growth and operations of the Wound Care Program for the assigned area of responsibility, overseeing day‑to‑day center operations, financial management, quality improvement, community education, and clinical functions.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Center Operations (20%)

– Direct day‑to‑day management of outpatient clinics and other wound care continuum programs, assess clinic flows, identify improvement areas, and implement best practices.

Direct Report Management (5%)

– Interview, hire, coach, and evaluate clinical and non‑clinical staff in collaboration with HR.

Financial Management (10%)

– Coordinate the revenue cycle with the hospital, review key financial reports, report ancillary revenues, and present results to leadership.

Community Education/Marketing (20%)

– Partner with hospital and Healogics marketing to develop referral strategies, maintain physician practice lists, conduct outreach visits, and report engagement outcomes.

Quality/Performance Improvement (10%)

– Lead continuous improvement programs, monitor patient and caregiver satisfaction, ensure compliance with safety guidelines, and maintain documentation accuracy.

Clinical Functions (20%)

– Coordinate clinical activities, direct staff, perform case management for wound care patients, and provide hyperbaric care as required.

Relationship Management (15%)

– Build and sustain relationships with hospital partners, align program goals with institutional strategy, and facilitate communication across departments.

Required Education and Experience

Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Preferred bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field with 1–2 years of marketing/community education in healthcare or clinical operations experience; alternatively 4+ years of such experience.

Management experience is preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

BLS (Basic Life Support) competency.

Knowledge of regulatory/accreditation requirements for healthcare organizations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.

Analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Leadership, teaching, team building, and motivational skills.

Relationship building and influence.

Budgeting and strategic planning.

Ability to travel overnight.

Demands

Extended periods of standing and computer use.

Lifting up to 75 pounds with equipment assistance.

Travel to patient sites and other locations.

Work Environment

Normal office environment, primarily indoors.

Exposure to patient care settings and associated hazards (bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, mechanical equipment).

Ability to work in proximity to moving objects and overhead equipment.

Compensation Annual salary range: $82,400.00 – $109,200.00, based on qualifications and.
