Roles & Responsibilities:
Evaluate patient’s health status through diagnostic procedures and tests.
Provide support to the surgical team through first and second assist.
Provide therapeutic patient care in outpatient and clinic areas, Pediatric Cardiac OR, procedural areas, Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Progressive and Acute Care Units under physician direction.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Schedule: Full Time (40 hours). Weekends and on‑call required.
Education: Successful completion of an ARC‑PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
Licensure: Board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Current CPR certification required: BLS and PALs; AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.
DEA and CDS certificates required.
Enrollment in Medicare PECOS required if ordering or referring services for Medicare beneficiaries.
