Laboratory Technician
desiring to work in an intellectually challenging and fast‑paced start‑up environment.
About the Role In this role, you will primarily focus on performing established wet‑laboratory assay protocols, recording data, and contributing to the analytical qualification of new assays. This position requires hands‑on work within a BSL‑2+ laboratory environment handling potentially infectious samples. You will be required to maintain safe laboratory working conditions and adhere to required PPE and biosafety procedures, as well as follow laboratory SOPs in a compliance‑driven environment.
Essential Laboratory Skills
Proficient pipetting skills
Hands‑on experience basic molecular biology techniques, such as nucleic acid isolation and PCR
Hands‑on experience in aseptic handling of primary cells or cell lines
Motivated self‑starter with demonstrated ability to learn and execute new laboratory techniques
Demonstrated ability to maintain detailed laboratory notes and documentation
MS Office proficiency
Education and Experience Requirements
BS in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology or related field; OR
AS in Biology or a related field with a minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience
