Join a Skilled Radiology Team in the Heart of the Berkshires A well-established healthcare organization in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, is seeking a dedicated and proficient X-Ray Technologist to perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures. This role calls for a professional who brings both clinical expertise and the ability to operate with minimal supervision in a high-paced medical environment.
As part of a dynamic radiology department, you’ll be entrusted with ensuring quality diagnostic images, patient safety, and maintaining operational standards. This position offers consistent weekday hours with rotating weekends and holidays, giving you balance and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures independently, following established protocols
Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during imaging sessions
Maintain and troubleshoot imaging systems, including CR, DR, PACS, RIS, and HIS
Follow all infection control standards and maintain patient confidentiality
Provide guidance or supervision to junior staff as assigned
Qualifications:
Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program
Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License (MALIC)
ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT-RTR)
Current CPR certification
Capable of handling high-stress situations independently
Willingness to attend all required continuing education
Skills Required:
