Job Details
Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and ingenuity
Apply appropriate skills to facilitate diagnosis with initiative
Provide proper patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies
Practice infection control and body substance isolation in compliance with OSHA standards
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Demonstrate proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems
Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR and PACS applications
Attend annual mandatory education including blood borne pathogens and infection control
Maintain department competencies as required
Must have excellent patient care skills
Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and mammography
2 years X-Ray experience and 1 year current experience required
2 years current mammography experience required
ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
BLS (AHA) certification required
Massachusetts state license required
Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
Holiday coverage required if needed
Must have own vehicle for transportation
8 hours non-billable orientation
Must not reside within 50 miles of facility
No 10/12 hour shift requests will be considered
Maximum 5 days requested time off accepted
