Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
Ensure all manufactured products meet specified quality standards and customer requirements.
Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Manage supplier quality programs, including audits and material inspections.
Oversee internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and certifications.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and product quality.
Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality procedures and best practices.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
5+ years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100).
Demonstrated expertise in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing a quality team.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
Experience with specific industry standards (e.g., AS9100, IATF 16949, FDA 21 CFR Part 820)
Proficiency in advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
Certified Lead Auditor (e.g., ISO 9001)
Experience with Quality Management Software (QMS) implementation or administration
