Plaza Ambassador (Full-Time) – Hacienda Hotel by Best Western Old Town San Diego WS Management Inc. invites you to apply for the Plaza Ambassador (Full-Time) role at Hacienda Hotel in Old Town San Diego.

The Plaza Ambassador is a highly visible and engaging role at the historic Hacienda Hotel. This position combines the warmth of a host, the helpfulness of a bell attendant, the professionalism of a front‑desk agent, and the versatility of a true hospitality ambassador. Stationed in the heart of the hillside property, the Plaza Ambassador ensures that every guest feels welcomed, supported, and appreciated while maintaining the charm, cleanliness, and beauty of our multi‑building property.

Key responsibilities include:

Deliver Outrageous Hospitality to all guests.

Guest Arrival, Departure & Bell Support – assist with luggage, provide directions, escort guests to rooms, and support guest navigation.

Front Desk & Guest Service Support – help with check‑ins/out, room key assistance, reservations, and general inquiries.

Shuttle Driving & Transportation – operate the hotel shuttle safely, maintain cleanliness, and assist with loading/unloading.

Plaza Appearance & Cleanliness – sweep, wipe tables, dust, clean windows, doors, railings, and apply the ABC Rule (Always Be Cleaning).

Light Maintenance & Safety Checks – replace light bulbs, clean spills, report hazards, and conduct walkthroughs.

Cross‑Departmental Support – assist Housekeeping, Laundry, and Maintenance as needed.

Brand, Safety & WS Standards – follow protocols, maintain brand standards, protect guest privacy and property assets.

Qualifications:

Prior hospitality or guest‑service experience required; front‑desk, bell, or driver experience preferred.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Ability to walk, stand, climb stairs, and lift up to 40 pounds during the shift.

Friendly, upbeat personality with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

Team player who is willing to jump in and help wherever needed.

Availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.
