An established engineering and automation firm is seeking an experienced

Engineering Manager

to lead a multidisciplinary team while remaining hands‑on in technical project execution. This position blends

technical expertise

with

people leadership , focusing on high‑quality project delivery, process improvement, and the professional growth of junior engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

gas turbine control systems

and industrial automation.

Leadership & Team Development

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence.

Guide and coach junior and mid‑level engineers through training, performance feedback, and career development.

Manage team workload, project assignments, and resource planning to ensure timely, high‑quality project delivery.

Technical & Project Delivery

Oversee the design, integration, and commissioning of

control systems for gas turbines and related power generation equipment .

Serve as a technical authority on complex engineering projects, providing direction on control logic, system architecture, and troubleshooting.

Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.

Collaborate with project management and clients to define scope, schedule, and technical requirements.

Support field operations and commissioning activities, providing expert guidance on turbine control and automation systems.

Process & Strategy

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes, standardization, and efficiency.

Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of engineering personnel.

Provide technical input for project proposals, client meetings, and business development efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering (Master’s preferred).

10+ years of relevant engineering experience, including

gas turbine control systems

and power generation projects.

Proven track record managing or mentoring engineering teams.

Strong understanding of PLC/DCS systems, electrical design principles, and control system integration.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to balance technical leadership with people management responsibilities.
