Are you looking for a position that is at the forefront of advancing the nation’s homeland missile defense capability? The Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program is one of the most dynamic and nationally critical programs in the company. NGI is part of the Ground‑based Midcourse Defense (GMD) system and will provide a new, advanced interceptor for the mission to protect the homeland against limited long‑range ballistic missile threats from rogue nations.

As a Project Engineer you’ll work on a broad range of projects that will challenge you to learn and grow in your career. Working side by side with designers, test, and manufacturing, you’ll use your education, experience and growing expertise to develop and evaluate new and innovative technology to survive in the most hostile of environments.

Responsibilities

Assist with Operations and Sustainment (O&S) strategy from inception through completion.

Integrate the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements into a strategic support strategy.

Act as a NGI programmatic representative supporting various subcontractors.

Assist the program manager with control account management responsibilities.

Desired Skills

Experience with development of Contractor Logistics Support and influenced during systems design.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience in developing Logistics LCSP and logistics plans.

Experience with supportability requirements being addressed consistently with cost, schedule, and performance.
