The Senior Accountant will be an integral member of the Finance Team and will play a key role in the delivery of accurate and timely financial statements. The Senior Accountant will be exposed to all areas of the accounting cycle including revenue, cost of goods sold and expense reporting.
MUST HAVE MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities
Assist with the month‑end and year‑end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals for various balance sheet and income statement accounts.
Assist in financial audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Maintain compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies, identifying areas for process improvements.
Assist in tax and regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Provide support for budgeting and forecasting by gathering and analyzing financial data.
Assist in reconciling intercompany transactions and preparing consolidated financial reports.
Review daily accounting activities in the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications
BS in Accounting / Finance or related field.
At least 3+ years of Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
ERP experience is a must.
Possess knowledge of SOX requirements.
