Financial Reporting & Consolidation Manager
We’re representing a growing multi‑entity retail organization that’s looking to bring on a Financial Reporting & Consolidation Manager to strengthen their corporate accounting function.
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll lead multi‑entity consolidation, support both US GAAP and IFRS reporting to a global parent, and play a key part in tightening reporting processes as the company scales.
Location:
Carson, CA (5 days onsite)
Compensation:
Up to $135k DOE + 10% Bonus + Benefits
What You’ll Take Ownership Of
Managing timely, reliable consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) across multiple banners and legal entities.
Driving key month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close deliverables tied to consolidation and reporting.
Reviewing trial balances and submissions from various business units to ensure accuracy, consistency, and proper intercompany eliminations.
Preparing internal reporting packages for senior leadership and the parent company under both US GAAP and IFRS.
Partnering with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, and the parent‑company auditors to troubleshoot and resolve reporting discrepancies and support SOX requirements.
Identifying gaps and helping streamline consolidation processes, documentation, and reporting systems (Oracle or similar large ERP/consolidation tools).
Supporting audits by preparing consolidated schedules, reconciliations, and technical support for external auditors.
Assisting with onboarding new entities/banners into the consolidation structure and adapting to evolving corporate reporting requirements.
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive accounting/financial reporting experience within a corporate or multi‑entity environment.
Hands‑on experience with multi‑entity consolidation and intercompany eliminations (not just sending numbers up to corporate).
Strong analytical ability and comfort validating and reconciling large volumes of financial data across entities.
Solid grasp of US GAAP and IFRS and core consolidation principles.
Familiarity with major ERP and/or consolidation systems (Oracle, Hyperion, OneStream, HFM, SAP BPC, or similar).
Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment and take ownership of key reporting cycles.
Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus but not required).
