About the Role
We are a growing Bergen County CPA firm seeking a Senior Accountant with at least 5 years of CPA-firm experience. CPA preferred, not required. Strong skills in accounting, auditing, workpaper and financial statement preparation for commercial real estate partnerships, construction companies, manufacturers, distributors, and other closely held businesses. Related tax experience is a plus. What You’ll Work On

International clients Public company or SEC work If that’s your background or interest, this isn’t the right fit. Key Responsibilities
Prepare accounting workpapers for compilation and review engagements Perform audit procedures Assist, as needed, in the preparation of federal and state income tax returns for the related partnership, S corporation, C corporation, and high‑net‑worth individuals Manage workflow, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly with firm team members Supervise staff as needed Support planning, projections, and transactional matters Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience in a CPA firm Strong competency with accounting, financial statement preparation Relevant audit and accounting experience Experience with real estate/construction/manufacturing clients strongly preferred Ability to manage multiple engagements Solid working knowledge of CCH Engagement, CCH ProSystem fx What We Offer
