Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for an experienced Nurse who is interested in transitioning to the ED specialty to participate in our Fellowship program, with a Start date of March 16th, 2026. Eligible Nurses will qualify for sign‑on and relocation bonuses.

Schedule/Hours: Full‑time, Night Shift (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.).

Emergency Room RN Fellow Responsibilities
Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination, understanding patient, family, nurse, and healthcare team perspectives.
Assist with behavioral health nursing and overflow unit duties to care for non‑emergency patients.
Conduct all patient care in a patient‑ and family‑centered manner.
Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes.
Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
One year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in an acute care setting.
BSN from an accredited school of nursing. An RN with an Associate Degree (ADN) must complete a BSN within five years of the start date.
RN license in Virginia, or eligibility to practice in Virginia.
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
CEN/ACLS certification desired.
Proficient in English.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a caring demeanor toward others.
Proficient computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred candidates will possess either two years of critical care experience or at least one year of ED experience.
