We’re seeking a Sr. Manager of Process Innovation to lead strategic modernization efforts across our advertising operations ecosystem. This role will drive the next wave of innovation in retail media: transforming workflows, integrating AI‑driven tools, and shaping the technology vision that powers the future of Sam’s Club MAP. This is a high‑impact, highly visible role that is expected to drive significant cross‑functional influence. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders across Sales, Product, Engineering, Merchandising, and advertiser teams to design best‑in‑class systems that improve speed, scalability, and member experience.

What You’ll Do

Reimagine Advertising Workflows: Redesign and streamline key ad platform processes, including order management systems, to improve scalability, automation, and efficiency.

Drive AI Agent Adoption: Lead the implementation and expansion of key agents to accelerate workflows. Identify impactful use cases, define business requirements, and ensure measurable improvements in operational efficiency and partner experience.

Build Cross‑Functional Alignment: Partner with Product, Engineering, Media Activation, Sales, Yield, and Trafficking teams to align business and technical priorities. Translate business challenges into actionable technology solutions and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.

Champion Process Modernization: Design, test, and scale best‑in‑class automation and workflow tools that accelerate MAP operations and enhance delivery quality.

Establish Scalable Best Practices: Create and maintain standardized processes, automation playbooks, and process documentation to ensure repeatability and operational consistency.

Influence Through Innovation: Engage senior leaders to shape MAP’s 3‑year technology needs. Advocate for first‑in‑class tools and approaches that position Sam’s Club as a leader in retail media innovation.

Create Memorable Member Experiences: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure that innovations are grounded in creating meaningful, measurable experiences for Sam’s Club members and advertisers.

What You’ll Bring

7+ years of experience in digital advertising, retail media, ad operations, or product/process innovation.

Strong background in process transformation, automation, or workflow optimization, ideally within technology‑driven organizations.

Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, driving alignment across Product, Engineering, and Business teams without direct authority.

Deep curiosity about emerging technologies such as AI, automation, and workflow orchestration, and their application to marketing and retail media.

Proven experience implementing AI‑driven tools or intelligent automation solutions that improve efficiency and scalability.

Strong understanding of ad technology ecosystems (e.g., ad servers, OMS, SSPs, DSPs, analytics).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas for senior leaders.

Strategic mindset with a bias for action — comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving fast to test, learn, and iterate.
