What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within federal, state, and local government as well as education sectors

Execute long-term sales strategies and engage deeply with internal and external stakeholders

Translate technical and business requirements into actionable solutions for clients

Lead commercial negotiations and manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals from outreach to close

Cultivate executive relationships and navigate complex organizational structures within the public sector

What is Required (Qualifications)

8+ years of sales experience, ideally in value-selling highly technical products to enterprise customers

Experience supporting the Public Sector market (government, education, state/local agencies)

Proven ability to develop and execute account plans across large, complex organizations

Excellent communication skills, particularly in executive-level, multi-stakeholder settings

Strong interest in technology and understanding of the broader ecosystem

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience selling to CIOs, CTOs, and finance stakeholders within the public sector

Prior success in selling payments, fintech, or API-based platforms

Established networks across public sector agencies or technology partners

Experience leading multi-year, multi-product enterprise deals with complex implementation requirements

Track record of exceeding sales quotas in competitive markets
