Govig & Associates is partnering with a premier senior living community in Houston to identify an accomplished Director of Sales & Marketing to lead a well‑established and mission‑driven team.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a selling leadership role with a respected organization that values integrity, collaboration, and high performance. The ideal candidate will balance hands‑on sales excellence with the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop a cohesive team culture that drives occupancy and brand reputation.

This is a base + commission role. The posted salary reflects base only.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and inspire a team of sales and marketing professionals to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.

Personally manage a portfolio of leads and act as a selling director, producing consistent move‑ins.

Partner with the community’s leadership team to execute strategic sales and marketing plans.

Analyze key performance metrics, monitor conversion rates, and use data to guide decision‑making.

Build strong relationships with prospective residents, family members, and referral partners through trust, follow‑up, and community engagement.

Leverage event marketing, outreach, and digital campaigns to increase traffic and enhance the community’s market visibility.

Collaborate with regional resources and specialists to align on goals, campaigns, and training initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Proven success in luxury senior living sales, preferably with Independent Living or CCRC (Type C entry fee) experience.

A hands‑on, relationship‑driven leader who enjoys both selling and coaching.

Strong business acumen and analytical mindset; comfortable managing sales data, forecasting, and performance tracking.

Confident yet collaborative leadership style, decisive without being domineering.

Warm, polished communicator who builds credibility with prospective residents and inspires trust in their team.

Able to thrive in a stable, high‑performing community environment while bringing fresh ideas and strategic energy.

Community maintains high occupancy across multiple levels of care with a strong reputation for quality and service.

The Director of Sales will partner closely with an experienced Executive Director and regional sales leadership team who value transparency, trust, and results.

A sales counselor and marketing professionals are already in place. This role will guide, mentor, and elevate their performance.

Compensation & Incentives

Commission structure: uncapped, based on number of move‑ins per month.
