Offer Description The project examines how minimum wage and fiscal policies interact in shaping the income conditions of low-wage workers, integrating economic analysis with socio-political perspectives to identify effective policy solutions. The analysis combines assessments of labor market impacts with evidence from social economics surveys to guide public policy design. The candidate will conduct research on topics at the intersection of labor and public economics, using microdata, quasi-experimental methods, social survey development, and structural labor market models. A PhD (or expected completion within six months) is required, along with strong quantitative skills and proven research experience in labor and/or public economics. Previous experience in survey design, quasi-experimental analysis, or structural modeling, and proficiency in R, Stata, or Python are essential qualifications.
