Offer Description
Applications must be submitted by January 30th, 2026, only using the application form. The application should contain a CV, a research statement addressing long-term perspectives at IM PAS, a list of publications and people whom the candidate would like to collaborate with. The open call is open to individuals who have obtained a postdoctoral degree or have submitted an application for a postdoctoral degree. Preference will be given to candidates applying to the Warsaw branch.
By the same date two letters of recommendation should be sent by e-mail to konkurs@impan.pl . In the subject of the e-mail, indicate please “Open call permanent positions” and the full name of the candidate.

The successful candidates will be required to conduct intensive research activities in the field of mathematics or its applications. They are expected to establish their own research teams at the Institute of Mathematics (through seminars and care for novice mathematicians) or significantly contribute to the existing teams. The Institute also expects participation in national and international research programs and grants. The achievements of persons employed under this competition will be subject to periodic evaluation.
