Senior SAP ABAP S/4HANA Developer

Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior SAP ABAP S/4 HANA Developer (10–12+ years) with strong expertise in architecting, developing, and optimising applications in SAP ECC/S/4HANA environments. The ideal resource will lead technical development efforts, work closely with stakeholders, and ensure high-quality delivery of SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end development of ABAP solutions, including reports, enhancements, interfaces, workflows, BAPIs, BADIs, SmartForms/Adobe Forms.
Architect and develop HANA-optimised code, including CDS Views, AMDP, HANA SQL Script, and performance-tuned ABAP solutions.
Design, build, and optimise OData services for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
Collaborate with functional teams across MM, SD, FI, PP, WM, and other modules to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Troubleshoot complex system issues, root-cause production defects, and ensure system stability.
Lead integration efforts involving IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and interfaces with external systems.
Produce high-quality technical documents (design specs, test plans, deployment guides).
Participate in SAP S/4HANA upgrade, migration, or greenfield implementation initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
10–12+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, HANA SQL, and performance tuning.
Expertise in building and optimising OData services for Fiori/UI5.
Extensive experience with IDocs, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, BDC, RFCs.
Strong experience with SmartForms/Adobe Forms.
Proven ability to lead development teams and deliver large-scale SAP projects.
Excellent debugging, optimisation, and problem‑solving skills.
SAP S/4HANA implementation or upgrade experience.
SAP BTP, CAPM, UI5/Fiori full‑stack experience.
Experience with SAP Data Migration tools (LSMW, BODS, BDC).
Agile/Scrum environment experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
