Our client is seeking a Plant Controller to lead financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning for a Tier 1 automotive supplier in northern Georgia near Chattanooga, TN.
This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, compliance, cash management, and supports executive leadership with financial insight and process improvement.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Oversee financial reporting, month-end/year-end close, and accounting operations Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and cost control Ensure compliance, risk management, and financial system integrity Support plant leadership with KPI analysis, cost savings, and pricing strategy Lead financial improvement projects and support new product launches Supervise and develop finance team (2–4 employees) Manage audits, banking, taxes, and external financial relationships Partner with senior leadership on business strategy and growth initiatives Requirements
Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting (Master’s preferred); CPA preferred 10+ years finance experience 5+ in leadership experience in manufacturing Strong knowledge of reporting, budgeting, cash management, and ERP systems Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities Experience with compliance, risk management, and financial controls Why Join
