Vice President Finance
Base pay range: $170,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr VP Finance, USA US$160,000 to $200,000 plus 10% bonus Office based in Spartanburg, SC PE backed, high growth, global group Team of 5 to 6 direct and indirect reports This is a standout role. Number one in finance for the entire US region, reporting directly to the UK based Group CFO and supporting the US CEO and Senior Leadership Team daily. This is the job for someone who wants ownership, visibility, commercial impact and genuine influence across a fast growing PE backed business. You will lead the full finance function: Accounting, controls, FP&A, commercial support, project accounting, revenue recognition, cash, tax, banking relationships and everything in between. Project accounting - milestones, margins, cash etc Full ownership of US financial reporting, compliance and control Lead monthly, quarterly and year end close with accurate US GAAP reporting Manage and develop a team of 5 to 6 finance professionals Business partner the US CEO and SLT on strategy, performance and decision making Lead budgeting, forecasting, FP&A insight and commercial analysis Oversee revenue recognition, cost tracking and margin analysis Lead project accounting and financial governance across long term contracts Manage audit, tax, and compliance across all US entities Own cashflow, working capital, treasury and banking relationships Improve processes, systems and reporting to create a scalable finance function Provide scenario modelling, investment cases and financial support for key projects Work closely with the Group CFO on global reporting, performance reviews and PE requirements What we are looking for
CPA or equivalent qualified accountant Strong technical finance background with depth in US GAAP Experience in PE backed, contract based or project heavy environments Confident with revenue recognition, margin understanding and accounting milestones Strong commercial instincts with a balance of detail and strategic thinking Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and grow a team Hands on, proactive and comfortable owning everything from the detail to the board level conversation Comfortable in a fast paced, changing, high growth environment Someone who enjoys being the technical go to and the commercial problem solver Why this role stands out
