Location: Seattle, WA

Base pay range: $80.00/hr - $150.00/hr

Responsibilities

Design and implement control systems for robotic applications.

Collaborate with hardware and software teams for seamless integration.

Develop and maintain control algorithms using Codesys and PLC platforms.

Test, debug, and optimize systems for high performance and reliability.

Document designs, test plans, and user manuals.

Provide technical support for production environments.

Stay ahead of the curve with the latest in robotics and control engineering.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field.

5+ years experience in motion control systems for robotics or industrial automation.

Proficiency in C++, Codesys, PLCs (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens).

Strong understanding of control theory, system dynamics, and feedback systems.

Experience with Git and software development best practices.

Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.

Bonus Points

Master’s degree in a related field.

Experience with real‑time systems, robotics, sensors, embedded systems.

Knowledge of functional safety standards (IEC 61131‑3).

Familiarity with EtherCAT protocols, HMI development, and system monitoring tools.
