Join a dynamic team focused on the development and implementation of cutting‑edge robotic automation systems. Coordinate with engineering teams to create, test, and debug PLC code using CodeSys and other IEC‑3 standard programming languages.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with controls, hardware, and software engineering teams in developing PLC code for robotic automation systems.
Develop automation programs using CodeSys, primarily in Structured Text, supporting other IEC‑3 standard programming languages.
Integrate EtherCAT networked servo drives for multi‑axis systems using CodeSys.
Integrate machine I/O devices with CodeSys, including fieldbus devices like EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, and IOLink.
Develop HMI applications utilizing CodeSys HMI features and Allen‑Bradley PanelView.
Create Functional Safety PLC applications using Bosch Rexroth CtrlX Safety controllers.
Apply industry best practices in PLC program development, such as variable definition, object‑oriented programming, and avoiding race conditions.
Test and integrate PLC control systems with external software applications via UDP and TCP communications or protocols.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in PLC programming and automation using CodeSys. Beckhoff is also accepted.
Experience with Structured Text programming language.
Strong knowledge of EtherCAT for synchronized motion execution.
Expertise in controls engineering and robotics troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with Beckhoff systems.
Understanding of IEC‑3 standard for programming.
In‑depth knowledge of robotics systems and troubleshooting.

Pay The pay range for this position is $145,000.00 - $166,000.00/hr.
