What To Expect
As a Validation Engineer on the High Voltage Systems team, you will develop validation plans and automation tooling to accelerate development and improve vehicle quality. You will assist in bring‑up of new products and features, working closely with firmware developers to ensure product quality. Joined with a highly skilled team, you will work on cutting‑edge technology.
What You'll Do
Work with integration, system validation and firmware engineers to create technical safety test plans.
Use critical reasoning to write Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) tests.
Design and implement data pipelines and analysis tools for test results from CI/CD pipelines.
Integrate static code analysis into the team's code review process to improve code quality.
Participate in spec reviews to help shape Tesla's newest products and features.
What You'll Bring
Degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering or equivalent experience.
Strong Python and scripting skills.
Experience with high voltage electrical systems.
Experience creating validation plans for technical safety.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with data pipelines and data analysis.
Experience with pytest or an equivalent testing framework.
