A well‑established company in the electrical/construction sector is seeking an experienced
Fleet Manager
to oversee the maintenance, performance, and daily logistics of a fleet of 85 trucks operating throughout the Greater Boston area.
We're looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented leader who knows how to keep a fleet running safely, efficiently, and cost‑effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the maintenance, repair schedules, and overall readiness of a 100 unit fleet.
Manage vendor relationships, service providers, and maintenance budgets.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, DOT regulations, and company policies.
Track fleet performance, mileage, fuel usage, and operational KPIs.
Coordinate with operations, project managers, and field teams to ensure equipment availability.
Implement preventative maintenance programs and recommend continuous improvements.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing a medium‑to‑large fleet
Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, DOT compliance, and fleet logistics.
Ability to analyze data and make cost‑effective decisions.
Solid communication and leadership skills.
Tech‑savvy with fleet management software is a plus.
