Consultant Relations Manager

The Consultant Relations role manages the strategic and tactical aspects of Premier Consultant Partner Firms. This role will provide industry knowledge, TIAA expertise, identify areas of growth, and build and maintain strong trusted relationships with Executive Leadership, consultant home office, and field adviser contacts. The role supports consulting partners by delivering best‑in‑class service and expanding the relationship through new business opportunities, product utilization, and other expansion areas. Key Responsibilities and Duties

Build and expand third‑party relationships to support new business development and growth/retention efforts, ensuring a seamless experience for consultants and clients. Develop a comprehensive strategic plan for each firm and take actions to drive strategic results for both TIAA and the consulting partner. Lead outreach efforts and serve as a trusted partner to consulting firms and field advisers. Provide education and training to increase consultants’ understanding of TIAA’s lifetime income solutions and services. Support consultant requests for book of business level information, insights, trends, and data as needed. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and industry/regulatory requirements; anticipate and address consultant needs proactively. Obtain and document individual field adviser product preferences, biases, and tendencies. Develop and maintain an engagement plan with both the consultant firm home office and key field advisers, implementing a detailed strategy with key firm contacts and field advisers. Execute disciplined practice management, prioritizing opportunities and following up on meetings. Lead integrated client strategy and sales efforts, working across key internal partners: Sales, Relationship Management, Marketing, Communications, and Nuveen. Educational Requirements

University degree preferred. Work Experience

5+ years required; 7+ years preferred. FINRA Registrations

Series 6 or 7; Series 63. Licenses and Certifications

Life Insurance License (Resident State) required. Life Insurance License (Non‑Resident State for states where associate conducts business) required. Physical Requirements
