Senior Sourcing Manager, Capital Equipment

Join REV Renewables, an LS Power company, as a Senior Sourcing Manager to lead the capital procurement process for utility‑scale sola­r, wind, and energy‑storage projects across North America. This role focuses on execution of demand forecasting, RFP/RFQ, contract management, and strategic sourcing initiatives. Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate with Development, Engineering, Construction, Operations, Finance, Tax, and Legal teams on procurement activities for utility‑scale storage, solar, and wind projects. Manage the strategic sourcing process for capital equipment, including batteries, solar modules, inverters, trackers, GSUs/MPTs, breakers, control houses, auxiliary transformers, and more. Execute RFPs/quotations, issue RFPs, and lead supplier communications. Build relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers; identify suppliers and shepherd technical qualification processes. Coordinate with Engineering and Construction on technical specifications and lead the commercial evaluation of bids. Summarize bid results and make award recommendations. Negotiate final contracts in coordination with Engineering, Construction, and Legal; ensure commercial provisions align with project outcomes. Obtain final signatures, kickoff agreements, and monitor supplier manufacturing milestones to keep the schedule on track. Prepare cash‑flow forecasts for supplier payments and collaborate with Treasury and Accounts Payable for timely payments. Track supplier performance metrics and incorporate lessons learned into future RFPs and contracts. Support contract change‑order management and ensure procurement efforts comply with REV safety and project delivery goals. Identify and evaluate new category and supplier strategies. Required Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum ten years of direct experience procuring capital equipment for utility‑scale BESS, solar, and wind projects. In‑depth knowledge of BESS, solar, and wind power projects and the challenges and trends within the renewable industry. Familiarity with project milestones for large power projects. Strategic thinker with strong creativity to solve problems and generate competitive advantage. Ability to work independently with minimal direction. Excellent negotiation skills, deep knowledge of the capital equipment supply base, and solid understanding of liabilities, guarantees, warranties, and securities. Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit/stand at a desk, use a computer workstation. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, and lift or pull objects up to 20 pounds.
