We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
HR Manager
to lead and oversee all human resource functions at the site locations. The HR Manager will be responsible for benefits, recruitment, onboarding, compensation, employee relations, performance management, training, employee engagement and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues/investigations
Partner with leadership and employees to improve employee engagement, retention and organizational effectiveness
Handle labor relations initiatives and strategy
Lead and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent in the manufacturing sector.
Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation and training programs.
Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR policies, workplace issues, and conflict resolution.
Promote a positive work culture by addressing employee concerns and fostering open communication.
Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and industry regulations.
Ensure proper record-keeping and documentation for audits and compliance requirements.
Conduct investigations and handle disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
7+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
Experience being in a standalone HR position preferred.
Experience supporting unionized environments.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, employee and labor relations
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
