Job Summary Reporting to the Director, Medical Surgical Nursing Services, responsible for overall unit activity and efficiency and providing secretarial/clerical support to the department. Interacts with physicians, staff, and pre-hospital personnel as well as patients and their family or significant others.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
High school graduate required.
Secretarial or business coursework preferred.
Medical terminology coursework preferred.
Experience
Previous secretarial experience with demonstrated computer and word processing skills required.
Previous Meditech experience preferred.
Licensure and/or Certification
Not required

Excellent customer service skills.
Interpersonal skills.
Telephone manners
Organizational skills.
Data entry skills.
Computer skills.
Must have the ability to multitask.
