Job Description The Enterprise Architecture team at TJX shapes technology strategy, drives innovation, and ensures governance across multiple domains—aligning every technology decision with business goals and enterprise standards.
We are seeking a Senior Architect to lead the design, architecture, and governance of our enterprise ServiceNow platform. In this role, you will define the platform’s strategic direction, ensure scalable and secure implementations, and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to maximize ServiceNow’s value in alignment with TJX’s overall IT strategy and vision.
Responsibilities
Define and evolve the ServiceNow platform architecture and roadmap aligned with business needs
Lead solution design across multiple ServiceNow modules (ITOM, ITBM/PPM, HRSD, CSM, ITAM, GRC, SecOps, Integration Services, AI, ITSM/DevOps)
Establish and enforce platform standards, design patterns, and governance
Drive adoption of new ServiceNow capabilities and releases
Provide architectural guidance and thought leadership across projects to ensure security, data integrity, scalability, and upgradeability
Partner with other Architecture disciplines and Platform/Product teams to ensure that ServiceNow is well integrated and strategically positioned within the enterprise ecosystem
Develop reference architectures, reusable frameworks, and design templates
Mentor ServiceNow engineers and foster a community of practice
Qualifications
5‑8+ years overall IT experience, including 3+ years of deep expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture and solution design
5+ years in enterprise or solution architecture with a proven track record of designing and implementing large‑scale, enterprise‑level systems across multiple domains
Demonstrated success in architecting large‑scale, complex ServiceNow implementations across multiple modules
Expertise in core ServiceNow components: Service Catalog, Workflow, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, CMDB, Discovery, Performance Analytics, Custom Apps, etc.
Strong understanding of ITSM, ITOM, CSM, GRC, or other key ServiceNow modules
Experience with integration design patterns and technologies (REST, SOAP, JDBC, etc.)
Solid grasp of enterprise architecture principles, security, and data governance
Hands‑on development experience: JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, ServiceNow Studio/App Engine
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder influencing skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Skills
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification desired
Experience designing multi‑instance or global ServiceNow deployments
Exposure to SAFe Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
Knowledge of complementary platforms such as Workday, Azure/Cloud, etc.
Relevant certifications: ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
