Job Overview
Holland & Hart is seeking a Project Manager to join our Denver office. In this role, you will partner closely with the Director to plan, design, and oversee construction and renovation projects across all firm locations. You’ll manage cost reviews, coordinate vendors, and ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for preventative maintenance of facilities and equipment, providing guidance and support for maintenance needs firmwide. This position is primarily on-site in Denver, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility for a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
Manage the construction administrative process for all offices, from start to finish.
Act as liaison with COO, Director, and Managing Partners for firm-wide space planning, design, budgeting, and construction in existing and new spaces.
Review all construction and/or maintenance pricing for reasonableness, completeness, and assist in resolving pricing questions, vendor follow-up concerns, and project risk management.
Review architectural and engineering drawings for completeness, accuracy, and constructability, including electrical systems, lighting, computer wiring, AV, sound proofing, HVAC, etc.
Evaluate and finalize plans for construction projects.
Manage vendor performance and delivery of services in compliance contracts, managing cost and risk; communicate concerns regarding quality, contract adherence, scope, budget or timeline with Director and COO.
Assist all H&H offices with ongoing and unresolved maintenance issues, driving them to completion; communicate with designated office OM and support staff.Assist in calling management companies, scheduling vendors, and coordinating with onsite staff for location upgrades, updates, and problem resolution.
Follow up with approved vendors on W9s, COI, payment resolution in tandem with AR/AP.
Assure compliance with contracts, contract documents, and standards; manage Holland & Hart components of final punch-list; coordinate punch-list with contractors; review pay applications for accuracy and compliance.
Work with external project managers on large renovation projects.
Assist with capital and operational budgeting related to construction, maintenance, and day-to-day operations.
Produce access cards and logs for visitors and new employees.
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, including housekeeping, access controls, maintenance, space planning.
Provide backup to other Office Services management team.
Oversee maintenance function for the firm’s vehicles.
Other duties as needed to drive vision, fulfill mission and abide by values.
Qualifications
Building Contractor License (commercial) or thorough understanding of International Building Code and LEED building requirements; knowledge of commercial construction techniques (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, furniture repair).
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 7 years construction management experience OR High School diploma and 11 years of related experience.
Ability to communicate effectively with firm personnel and external vendors.
Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and achieve superior results.
Experience managing vendors, engineers, contractors to produce quality results while controlling cost and risk.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to all firm locations.
Willingness to work outside regular hours as needed.
Sound decision‑making skills, choosing best course from alternatives and foreseeing possible problems.
Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this position, the employee must have the ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time; manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of at least thirty (30) pounds; have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on a computer and/or related office equipment; speak clearly and concisely so listeners can understand; and regularly understand the speech of another person.
Work Environment Professional office atmosphere. Medium physical work at times. Ability to travel to other offices during the week or possible weekends. This role is full‑time, scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, with the ability to work remotely.

The Colorado salary range is $74,925.37 to $124,875.61 annually. A discretionary bonus may be available based on performance.
